The building of Pallas Hotel started at 1926 and it first operated in 1929. It belonged to Skretas family and the galleria connecting the two building was named after them. It is the oldest operative hotel in the city of Volos.
Aegli Hotel, designed by Kassiopoulos and being a distinctive monument of Art Nouveau, began its operations in 1938.. It has hosted many prominent figures from the worlds of politics, the arts and business.
In 1977 Pallas Hotel closed down and at the end of the 1990s, the two buildings were united and drastically reconstructed. The hotel was extensively refurbished in 2012 and 2016, in order to cater to modern travelers’ needs. Since 1996, Aegli Hotel and Pallas hotel operate jointly, offering high standards services.
